Southern Oregon junior goalkeeper Ashlynn Hernandez has been named the Cascade Conference's Rize Laboratory Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Hernandez tallied 14 saves and a .933 save percentage in last weekend's matches against College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon.

In the 1-0 setback to 17th-ranked College of Idaho, Hernandez finished with six saves. In the 1-0 victory at Eastern Oregon, Hernandez turned back eight shots and notched her fifth shutout of the season and the 18th of her career.

Hernandez also earned conference accolades on August 28 after leading the Raiders to shutout wins over Simpson (Calif). Jessup (Calif.) and then 9th-ranked Embry-Riddle (Ariz.)

The Raiders (5-4-2 overall, 2-1-2 CCC) host Rocky Mountain Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
