ASHLAND – Northwest (Wash.) scored twice in the final 35 minutes to earn a 3-1 victory over Southern Oregon in Cascade Conference play Monday at Raider Stadium.

The Raiders (7-6-4 overall, 4-3-4 CCC) trailed 1-0 at half before Abby McKean set up Iniana Hammond in the box for an equalizer in the 54th minute. The Eagles (9-6-2, 7-3-2) took the lead back in the 66th, when Halley Marschall used a free kick to connected with Donnya Kvinge for a short attempt that found the back of the net.

They sealed the outcome in the 84th as Gracie Van Assche's corner kick found Grace Burke's head, deflected off SOU keeper Ashlynn Hernandez and made its way back to Burke for a second-chance goal.

The Eagles, who got the initial goal from Anna Lau on another Marschall assist, finished their regular season in a three-way tie for third place in the standings. Based on tiebreaker criteria, they'll have the No. 5 seed in the CCC Tournament.

In seventh place, the Raiders are one point up on Bushnell, their guest for Thursday's regular-season finale. A win or a draw would clinch the No. 7 seed and set them up for a CCC Tournament quarterfinal matchup against second-place Carroll (Mont.); a loss would leave them with the No. 8 seed and pit them against regular season champion College of Idaho.
