EUGENE – On the final night of the Cascade Conference regular season, No. 16 Southern Oregon kept streaking with a 25-15, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19 defeat of Bushnell on Saturday at the Morse Center.
Hannah Stadstad dropped in 19 more kills as the Raiders moved to 25-5 overall and finished CCC play in third place at 18-4. Stadstad, a junior right-side hitter, attacked at an even .500 average on 32 attempts, bringing her final clip in conference play to .382 – the highest for any CCC player since 2019.
With the No. 3 seed, SOU will travel to La Grande next weekend for the CCC Championships presented by U.S. Bank. The eight-team tournament begins Tuesday with the bottom four seeds fighting for the final two spots at the final site. SOU plays at 9 a.m. Friday against the lowest remaining seed, and if they win will move on to a 4 p.m. semifinal match against No. 2 seed Corban.
The Raiders followed up their Friday upset of the No. 6-ranked Warriors with a business-as-usual performance, also getting 15 kills and five blocks from right-side hitter
Megan Perry.
Marin Mackey checked in with seven kills and a season-high 20 digs.
They limited the Beacons (15-11, 13-9) to a .151 attacking average, in part by compiling 12 blocks. Tessa Zimmerman had two solo and four assisted, and
Sadie Byrd totaled five with five kills.

Kayla Neidigh went for 12 digs, four assists and three service aces. From the setter position,
Vitoria Mattos had 23 assists and six digs and
Annie Hite complemented her with 22 assists and 11 digs.
The Raiders have reached the 25-win mark for the fourth time in their last eight seasons.
