KIRKLAND, Wash. – Southern Oregon pounced early and directed Northwest (Wash.) to its 12th loss in 13 games by a score of 84-62 in Cascade Conference action Friday night at Kristi Brodin Pavilion.
The Raiders moved into fourth place with the win, improving to 15-8 overall and 11-6 in the CCC with five regular-season games left to play.
Senior guard
Atmar Mundu shot 7-of-9 to score 18 points, pushing the Raiders to a 51-percent mark from the field. Senior forward
Josh Meyer, after banking SOU's first triple-double since 2015 in his last outing, flirted with another while compiling 12 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, his third double-double in two weeks.
Brett Hollins added his first career double-double, going for 10 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.
The Raiders rushed out to a 26-12 lead 12 minutes into the game. They maintained it by holding the Eagles (7-15, 4-12) to 35-percent shooting. It was the seventh time they've kept an opponent under 40 percent in conference play.

Will Graves contributed 13 points apiece.
Dominic McGarvey had seven points, five rebounds and two blocks, and
Cole McAninch shot 3-of-4.
The Raiders won their two matchups against the Eagles by 56 combined points.
They'll be at one-win Evergreen (Wash.) at 5 p.m. Saturday.
