OLYMPIA, Wash. – A 25-16, 25-16, 25-22 defeat of Evergreen (Wash.) made No. 16-ranked Southern Oregon 8-3 through the first half of the Cascade Conference schedule and gave the Raiders a split of their road trip Saturday evening at the Costantino Recreation Center.
Hannah Stadstad poured in 15 kills for the second night in a row and
Megan Perry had 13 for the Raiders, who bumped their overall record to 15-4 entering next week's big homestand against No. 4 Eastern Oregon and third-place College of Idaho.

Kayla Neidigh shored up the defense with 20 digs, her highest total ever in a three-set match, while
Trinity Atuatasi had 13.

Marin Mackey contributed nine kills and 14 digs. Setters
Annie Hite and
Vitoria Mattos combined for 46 assists and 13 digs.
SOU handled the first two sets against the Geoducks (2-13, 2-9), who on Friday night took Oregon Tech to five sets. The Geoducks had a 20-19 lead in the third, but Stadstad closed out the match with a pair of kills.
Stadstad, a 6-foot product of Albany, reached her total with just 27 attacks and hit .460 on the weekend. Over the last two weeks, she averaged 3.4 kills per set.
The win was the Raiders' 10th in straight sets this season. They remain to matches behind co-leaders Corban and EOU in the standings.
