ASHLAND – Five pins and five forfeits gave the No. 16-ranked Southern Oregon men's wrestling team a perfect 60-0 victory over Evergreen (Wash.) in the first-ever dual between the teams Thursday night at Bob Riehm Arena.

The perfect score was the second in team history for the Raiders, who improved to 10-3 overall and 6-1 against Cascade Conference opponents. They have now recorded double-figure win totals in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 2014-15 and 15-16 campaigns.

Vonn Fenn (125 pounds), top-ranked Evan Potter (141), No. 7 Alex Hernandez (174), Adrian Chavez-Morales (184) and No. 14 Andrew Herrera (197) had the falls for the Raiders. Only Potter's match against Jeramias Sandoval went past the first round as the dual wrapped up in 28 minutes. That time frame included an exhibition pin for Simon Graeber (133), who officially accepted a forfeit after his opponent failed to make weight.

A small contingent of Raiders will compete Friday and Saturday at the Missouri Valley Invitational. They return to dual action on the road Jan. 26-27 with visits to No. 20 Montana State-Northern and No. 10 Providence (Mont.).
