COMPLETE TOURNAMENT RESULTS

MARSHALL, Mo. – Dylan Straley fell just short of placing at the Missouri Valley Invitational, going 4-2 to lead Southern Oregon's representation on Friday at the Burns Athletic Complex.

Straley, a sophomore wrestling at 157 pounds, recorded two technical falls and a pin during his run through the consolation bracket. It ended at the hands of Hastings (Neb.)'s Jake Patterson, who advanced to the second day of the tournament with a 16-1 victory.

Straley accounted for 7 ½ of 14 ½ team points for the Raiders, who brought just seven wrestlers to the tournament and left their ranked individuals behind.

Greg Guzman (149) picked up two wins. Anthony Perez (141) and Ethan Miller (184) added one apiece.

SOU returns its dual schedule on the road next week, visiting No. 20 Montana State-Northern on Friday and No. 10 Providence (Mont.) on Saturday.
