WOMEN'S QUALIFIERS | MEN'S QUALIFIERS
ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon women's cross country team is headed to the NAIA Championships for the 10th consecutive season and
Jalen Griego will make the trip to Columbia, Mo., as an individual qualifier for the men's race.
The at-large bid was expected after the Raiders finished second at the Cascade Conference Championships, but the national office made the field official this week as they landed at No. 15 in the women's NAIA Top 25.
Griego, a senior from Barstow, Calif., earned an automatic bid by placing 11th in the men's CCC Championships. He needed a top-15 finish to advance.
The meet is set for Nov. 22 at Gans Creek Cross Country Course. The men's 8K begins at 8:30 a.m. PST and the women's 6K follows at 9:30 a.m.
The Raider women placed eighth in last year's NAIA race. They've been among the top-10 four of their last five seasons. They'll be running alongside 35 other teams next week.
