KLAMATH FALLS – Southern Oregon erased a 10-point Oregon Tech lead in the final three minutes of regulation before falling in double-overtime, 97-94, on Saturday night at Danny Miles Court.
Elijah Jackson scored a career-high 23 points and made a game-tying free throw with four-tenths of a second left in regulation to tie the score, then made four more free throws in a row during the first extra session to give the Raiders an 85-84 lead with 42 seconds on the clock. OIT's Jamison Guerra forced the second OT by finishing inside on the run with a few seconds to spare.
There, Tech's Kam Osborn took over with seven of his game-high 26 points, scoring five at the line. His final point put the Owls up three with 11 seconds left, and Jackson's contested attempt for the tie rimmed off on the other end.
Mason Whittaker added a career-high 21 points for the Raiders, who fell to 5-4 overall and 0-3 in the Cascade Conference.

Bryce Dyer had nine and pulled down nine of his 12 rebounds on the offensive glass.
