McMINNVILLE – Out of 16 matches, the Southern Oregon women's wrestling team won six by fall and six by forfeit in dual victories of 33-4 over Pacific and 34-5 over Linfield on Saturday at Wilson Gymnasium.

The No. 8-ranked Raiders' first dual action of the season was a breeze against the NCAA Division III opponents, both of whom opted for eight-match battles instead of the usual 10.

Seven different Raiders accounted for the pins: Briseis Serrano (117 pounds), Holland Wieber (145) and Lillian Gradillas-Flores against Pacific, and Diamond Lopez (103), Emma Baertlein (117) and Quilaztli Miguel-Lapham (160) against Linfield.

Miguel-Lapham added a decision against Pacific to start her 2-0 day. Gradillas-Flores won by technical fall in the Linfield dual.

SOU is in action again Sunday at Eastern Oregon's Mountaineer Open.
