ASHLAND – Raider juniors Kaylah Bresee and Brooklyn Hayes were voted Cascade Conference McDonald's Players of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, on Monday after pushing the Southern Oregon women's soccer team to a perfect six-point road trip.

Bresee earned the top defensive award for helping the Raiders turn in back-to-back clean sheets as they defeated Rocky Mountain (Mont.), 3-0, and Carroll (Mont.), 2-0. In addition to her stellar work on the back line, where she played all 180 minutes, she tallied goals both games and has done so in four consecutive games overall.

Hayes, who collected the offensive award, assisted the go-ahead goal before scoring another at Rocky, then headed in her second score of the trip at Carroll. In five CCC games, she has four goals and one assist.

At 7-1-1 overall, the Raiders are off to the best nine-game start in team history and remain unbeaten in CCC play at 4-0-1. They'll attempt to extend their three-game winning streak this week in Ashland, hosting Providence (Mont.) at noon Saturday.
