QUALIFIERS BY SCHOOL

ASHLAND
– The Southern Oregon University women's wrestling team picked up two more national-qualifier bids this week, bringing its NAIA Championship total to 11.

Nine Raiders qualified automatically while helping the team win a Cascade Conference title Sunday in Redding: Emma Baertlein (110 pounds), Jasmine Howard (117), Marissa Kurtz (117), Kaylee Annis (124), Malia Welch (124), Carolina Moreno (131), Quilaztli Miguel-Lapham (160), Bailey Dennis (180) and Kat Hingano (207).

At-large bids went to Holland Wieber (145) and Lillian Gradillas-Flores (180). They'll make SOU one of seven teams at the tournament with at least 11 wrestlers. Five teams hit the max with 12.

The third annual competition takes place March 14-15 in Park City, Kan. The Raiders, ranked No. 5 in the final NAIA poll, will be following up on last year's third-place finish and are two years removed from claiming the national title.
