ASHLAND – For the second week in a row, Southern Oregon senior Hailey Seva was voted the Cascade Conference Softball Player of the Week on Monday after going 10-for-18 with eight RBIs in the Raiders' series at Eastern Oregon.

Seva notched the first four-hit game of her career in the 15-inning series opener. She went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run as the Raiders clinched a co-championship in Game 3, then left the yard again with a three-run shot as they overcame a 4-0 deficit in the finale.

The senior outfielder/first baseman extended her hitting streak to 11 games. Over the last two weeks, she has raised her batting average from .288 to .378.

An All-CCC second-team selection last season, Seva leads the SOU with six home runs despite ranking 10th on the team with 90 at-bats. Her .678 slugging percentage is the third-highest in the conference.

The No. 1-ranked Raiders (44-6), after sharing the regular-season title with Oregon Tech, will be the No. 2 seed at this week's CCC Tournament in Klamath Falls. Their opener in the double-elimination bracket will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday against either No. 3 seed EOU or No. 6 seed Carroll (Mont.).
