GREAT FALLS, Mont. – In a backup-heavy dual between the Cascade Conference's best, the No. 4-ranked Providence (Mont.) women's wrestling team defeated No. 12 Southern Oregon 25-19 on Thursday night at the McLaughlin Center.

Sialafua Polamalu (180 pounds) and No. 3-ranked Kat Hingano (207) ended the night with back-to-back pins for the Raiders (3-4 overall) after they'd dropped six of the first eight matchups.

Only three of the teams' 19 combined nationally-ranked individuals were in action. Both of the Argos' amassed bonus points – top-ranked Erin Hikiji (103) with a technical fall to start the night, and No. 5 Aspen Dodge with a first-round fall to give them their last win.

Mackenzie Burger (110) and Herminia Estrada (124) accounted for SOU's other victories. Burger took a 12-5 decision from Megan Cornett and Estrada needed just 1:25 to finish off a technical-fall shutout of Eliza Brunner.

The Argos (12-2) established a new team record for dual wins in a season. They previously defeated the Raiders last week at the NWCA-NAIA National Duals with the teams' starters in action.

SOU finishes its trip Sunday at the Evergreen Open in Olympia, Wash.
