Raiders dominate Geoducks 95-29

OLYMPIA, Wash. — Bridgette McIntyre and Sage Winslow combined for 40 points and the Southern Oregon women's basketball team had its largest margin of victory in 10 years in a 95-29 win over Evergreen (Wash.) on Friday night. 

McIntyre scored 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting with four 3-pointers, four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and zero turnovers to help the Raiders move to 13-6 overall and 8-3 in the Cascade Conference. 

Winslow had a career-high 18 points, going 8-of-11 with a team-high five rebounds, three assists, and a pair of steals as the Raiders shot 59% collectively. They forced 32 turnovers and held the Geoducks (0-14, 0-11) to just 24% from the floor. 

Eliza DiGiulio scored 11, freshman Millie Day added 11 – all in the fourth quarter – on perfect 4-of-4 shooting, and nine other Raiders tallied points in SOU's highest scoring game of the season. 

The Raiders hit 10-of-23 from 3, scored 52 points in the paint, and outrebounded the Geoducks 37-29. The score at halftime was 67-27. 

Keeley Wright posted four points, four rebounds, and a team-high in both assists (4) and steals (4). Taylee Clements contributed eight points with two 3s and three steals, and Alex Bullock and Kyla Albee scored five each. 

SOU poured in 26 points in the second quarter and 28 in the fourth. In the final period of play, they held Evergreen to just two points on 8% shooting. 

Evergreen's Amaya Afatasi had a team-high nine points. 

The Raiders face Northwest (Wash.) at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
