EUGENE — Sophomore forward Tori Lasch scored her eighth goal of the season as the Southern Oregon women's soccer team tied Bushnell 1-1 on Friday afternoon in Civic Park Stadium.
After a scoreless first half, Lasch's 64th-minute strike from the left side put the Raiders (8-2-4 overall, 5-2-2 Cascade Conference) on the board. She was set up within the box by Abby McKean, who recorded her first assist of the year.
The Beacons (4-6-3 overall, 3-5-1 CCC) leveled the score in the 83rd on a converted free kick from Ohu Miles. From the top of the box, the sophomore forward bent a shot around the right of the Raider wall that ricocheted off a defender's head into the net.
SOU held the advantage in shot attempts (17-13), putting five on goal. They weren't allowed any second half corner kicks after having two in the first.
Brycelin Endrikat had three shots on target and Brooklyn Hayes had one.
Raider keeper Ashlyn Fuss recorded two saves.
Lasch is third in the CCC in both goals scored (8) and points (18).
The Raiders head to Salem to play Corban (6-6-3 overall, 4-3-2 CCC) on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
