REDDING, Calif. — No. 4 Southern Oregon continued its roll, extending its winning streak to six with convincing defeats of Northwest (Wash.) and No. 9 College of Idaho on Saturday at Redding Sports Complex. 

The Raiders first downed the Eagles, 5-0, with only one match seeing a third set. No. 2 pair Kira Sandoval and Molly Grace dropped their first, 19-21, before rallying back with 22-20 and 15-8 wins. SOU didn't allow more than 14 points in any other match. 

In the next dual, the Raiders completed their third clean sweep of the weekend with a 5-0 win in a rematch against the ninth-ranked Yotes. The No. 1 pair of Tessa Zimmermann and Grace Gulbrandsen won 21-12 and 21-10, and No. 3 pair Andressa Ribeiro Soares and Maelle Garon dominated, winning 21-4 and 21-7. 

"We felt like we played our most complete weekend together as a team," said coach Paul Elliott. "We did a good job staying in the moment, one play at a time."

The Raiders improved to 10-2 overall and 8-1 in the Cascade Conference. They have next weekend off before hosting home duals on Mar. 27-28, where they'll face No. 2 Corban twice and Bushnell once.
