SOU-Northwest Boxscore

Northwest University turned a three point halftime lead into a 94-65 victory over the Southern Oregon men tonight in Kirkland, Wash.

Northwest improved to 9-4 overall and 3-1 in Cascade Conference play. SOU fell to 3-8 overall and 1-2 in conference action.

Greg George led Northwest with 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Josh McDermott (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) came off the bench to lead SOU with 14 points. Jarrad Childs (Paso Robles, Calif./Paso Robles) had 11 points for the Raiders.

Childs had all his points in the first half as the Raiders shot almost 50 percent (48.5) and trailed just 41-38 at halftime.

The second half was all Northwest.

The Eagles shot 61 percent and held the Raiders to 30 percent shooting to turn the game into a blowout.

SOU travels to Willamette Dec. 29 before returning to Cascade Conference play at home on Jan. 2 (Concordia) and Jan. 3 (Corban).
