SOU-Warner Pacific Boxscore
A 15-4 run late in the second half helped the Warner Pacific men's basketball team score an 86-65 victory over Southern Oregon tonight in Portland, Ore.
The 18th-ranked Knights improved to 13-4 overall and 6-3 in conference play. Southern Oregon dropped its third straight and fell to 5-12 overall and 3-5 in league play. The Raiders travel to Cascade College Saturday night.
Adam Moore and Jake Glisson both went for 17 points to lead Warner Pacific.
Junior
Jarrad Childs (Paso Robles, Calif./Paso Robles) led SOU with 18 points and senior
Josh McDermott (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) finished with 14.
SOU had trouble shooting the ball all night, making only 37 percent from the field and 54 percent from the free throw line.
The Raiders came out of the gate strong and five straight points by McDermott gave SOU a 27-23 lead with 9:39 left in the first half.
Warner Pacific came back and tied the game at 31-31 and then started to pull away and led 44-36 at the half.
In the second half the Knights went on a 15-4 run to put the game away.
