The Oregon Tech men's basketball team started the game on an 11-2 run and never looked back as the Owls rolled to a 93-50 rout of Southern Oregon.

Top-ranked Oregon Tech improved to 16-1 overall and 6-1 in Cascade Conference action. Southern Oregon had a two-game winning streak snapped and fell to 5-9 overall and 3-3 in conference games. The Raiders travel to Northwest Christian Saturday night.

Jguwon Hogges led Oregon Tech with 23 points and a 5-for-6 effort from the 3-point line.

Senior Eli Thornton (Victorville, Calif./Victorville) led SOU with 12 points in just 17 minutes of action.

After the game started out 2-2, the Owls responded with 11 straight points to take control.

The Owls had a 35-14 lead with 8:03 to go in the first half and never looked back, taking a 55-28 lead at the half.

OIT had its biggest lead at 88-42 with 6:30 to play in the game.
