The Southern Oregon men used a big second half, but it was enough as they fell to College of Idaho 87-78 tonight in Caldwell, Idaho

College of Idaho improved to 6-5 overall and 2-2 in Cascade Conference play. Southern Oregon dropped to 8-5 overall and 0-4 in conference action.

Craig McGree came off the bench for 24 points to lead the Coyotes.

After leading 49-35 at the half, the Yotes led by as many as 20 at 57-37 before the Raiders came storming back behind Childs. Childs hit a 3-pointer and then a fastbreak layup to cut the lead to 61-55.

Another Childs 3-pointer cut the lead to 69-64 with 7:30 to play, but the Yotes quickly pushed it back to 10 just over a minute later.

The Raiders travel to NCAA Division I Utah Valley State Monday night.
