After a week off, the Southern Oregon men return to Cascade Conference play Wednesday and Thursday when they host Northwest Christian and Corban.
The SOU men (8-6, 0-4) will look to get their first conference victory of the year after starting the year off 7-1.
Senior
Jarrad Childs (Paso Robles, Calif./Paso Robles) has been impressive in his return to the SOU lineup. In his four games back, Childs is averaging over 13 points per game, including 26 against College of Idaho and 22 against Eastern Oregon.
Seniors
Humphrey Jackson (Redwood City, Calif./Woodside) and
Ryan Staker (Las Vegas, Nevada/Centennial) are both averaging over 12 points per game, while senior
Justonn Smith (Redwood City, Calif./Woodside) is averaging 11 points.
Much like the Raiders, Northwest Christian (9-6, 1-2) jumped out of the game quick. After dropping two straight to open the season, NCU won nine straight before dropping the last four.
Senior Ben Voogd leads the Beacons in scoring at 17.8 per game.
Corban (5-8, 0-3) is also looking for conference win No. 1. After starting the season 4-0, the Warriors are 1-8 since that point.
Ian Logan leads the Warriors in scoring at 18.6 per game, which also ranks fourth in the conference.
