The Southern Oregon men broke into the conference win column for the first time tonight with a 87-76 victory over Corban at McNeal Pavilion.
Southern Oregon improved to 9-6 overall and 1-5 in Cascade Conference play. Corban dropped to 5-10 overall and 0-5 in conference play - now the conference's only winless team.
Southern Oregon travels to Evergreen State and Northwest next weekend.

Jarrad Childs (Paso Robles, Calif./Paso Robles) led all scorers with 23 points.
Ryan Staker (Las Vegas, Nevada/Centennial) and
David Grant (Seattle, Wash./Seattle Roosevelt) both finished with double-doubles. Staker had 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Grant had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Austin Wolfer (Woodburn, Ore./Woodburn) also had 11 points.
Nash Keene led Corban with 20 points.
The Raiders got defensive in the first half, holding the Warriors to just 10 field goals and 29 points as SOU led 46-29 at the intermission.
In the second half the Warriors closed the gap to 62-59, but a technical foul led to Childs going 3 of 4 from the free throw line and the Raiders never looked back.
