Kreuz Stays Unbeaten In 2009

After winning three straight 1,500 meter races, Southern Oregon senior Cameron Kreuz (Portland, Ore./Lincoln) stayed unbeaten in 2009 by winning the 800 at today's San Francisco State Distance Carnival.

Kreuz' winning time of 1:52.68 is an NAIA Automatic Qualifying standard. Teammate Levi Roudebush (Grants Pass, Ore./North Valley) finished third with a time of 1:54.16, which is an NAIA Provisional Qualifying standard.

Southern Oregon's Joe Rath and Ryan Ghelfi (Redding, Calif./Redding Adventist) also had NAIA Provisional Qualifying standard times in the 5,000.

Rath finished 21st with a time of 14:58.77 and Ghelfi finished 30th in 15:06.95. Ryan Sorenson (Sheridan, Wyo./Sheridan) finished 36th in 15:22.72.

SOU senior Stephanie Miller (Medford, Ore./North Medford) competed at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto.

Miller finished ninth with a throw of 113-03.
