A small number of Southern Oregon track and field athletes came away with impressive marks at this weekend's Oregon Relays in Eugene.
Senior distance runner
Cameron Kreuz (Portland, Ore./Lincoln) won his section in the 1,500 and his time of 3:51.30 was good enough for third place overall.
In the 100, junior
Antwun Baker (North Hollywood, Calif./North Hollywood) won his section and finished eighth overall at 11.03 and then finished 12th in the 200 (22.47).
Adriana Ricks (Sacramento, Calif./Monterey Trail) finished second in a NCAA Division I heavy long jump event with a leap of 17-02. U.C. Santa Barbara's Tamara Thomas won the event with a jump of 18-05.
In the pole vault,
Jamie Wells (Eagle Point, Ore./Eagle Point) finished third at 10-08 and
JoLena Boatsman (Kelso, Wash./Kelso) finished fifth at 10-02.

Katelyn Alley (Culver, Ore./Culver) in the 800 (8th, 2:21.83),
Chenin Young (Upland, Calif./Upland) in the 100 hurdles (9th, 15.8),
David Laney (Portland, Ore./Central Catholic) in the 5,000 (14th, 15:13.45) and
Levi Roudebush (Grants Pass, Ore./North Valley) in the 800 (17th, 1:55.14).
