Jordan Highland (Tualatin, Ore./Tualatin) went for a career-high 24 points as the Southern Oregon men scored a 75-59 victory over Walla Walla tonight.

Southern Oregon improved to 2-1 with the victory and will travel Simpson on Tuesday.

Highland's 24 points came of 9-for-17 shooting and he also added a team-high six rebounds. Kellen Hawley (Cordova, Alaska/Cordova) and Scott Tiefenthaler (Spanaway, Wash./Bethel) both had 11 points for the Raiders.

Jordan Stimmel had 13 points for Walla Walla.

Southern Oregon led 34-22 at the half and shot 50 percent for the game, while holding Walla Walla to 31 percent shooting.
