The Southern Oregon men turned a 12 points halftime lead into a 30 point rout as they took down Bethany 91-61 tonight during the final day of the Midland Empire Insurance Classic in Klamath Falls.
Southern Oregon is now 5-1 on the season. Tomorrow's matchup with Simpson has been postponed because of weather.
The Raiders will return to action Thursday and Friday when they host the annual Flagship Inn Invitational. Oregon Tech and Fresno Pacific will kickoff day one on Friday at 5:30 p.m., followed by SOU and William Jessup at 7:30 p.m.
Southern Oregon shot 52 percent for the game, including 64 percent in the second half on 16-for-25 shooting.
Jordan Highland (Tualatin, Ore./Tualatin) led SOU with 18 points, while
Kyle Tedder (Coos Bay, Ore./Marshfield) had 17 points and
Kellen Hawley (Cordova, Alaska/Cordova) and
Scott Tiefenthaler (Spanaway, Wash./Bethel) both had 10 points.
