The Southern Oregon softball team dropped to 0-4 on the season, dropping a doubleheader at No. 20 CSU San Marcos today.
CSU San Marcos won the opener 11-5 and the nightcap 4-2.
CSU San Marcos improved to 4-0 with the victories, while Southern Oregon dropped to 0-4. The Raiders travel to Vanguard Saturday.
In the opener, the Raiders scored five in the second thanks to base hits by
Jordyn Kurtz (Tacoma, Wash./Stadium),
Bailey Price (Napa, Calif./Vintage),
Sarah Wharton (Ontario, Ore./Ontario) and Rayne Okimoto.
CSU San Marcos came back with a single run in the second, three in the third, two in the fifth and five in the sixth to take the first game.
Kathryn Moy, Price and Wharton each had a pair of hits for the Raiders.
In the second game, CSU San Marcos took a 4-1 lead after three innings and allowed just a single run in the seventh to SOU.

Meghan Laughlin (Honolulu, Hawaii/Mid-Pacific Institute), Price, Wharton and
Justine Fulton (Reno, Nev./McQueen) each had one hit for the Raiders.
Karri Johnson (Delta, British Columbia/Sands Secondary) picked the last four innings for the Raiders and gave up just two hits.
