ASHLAND – Southern Oregon pitcher Ayla Davies is an NAIA All-American again after earning a selection to third team on Tuesday, the national office announced.

Davies, who was the NAIA Pitcher of the Year in 2025, followed up her unprecedented freshman season by going 27-9 with a 1.96 ERA as a sophomore. She became the fifth two-time All-American in team history.

On the national leaderboards, the rise-balling right-hander from Burns ranked first in complete games (28), second in innings pitched (224 2/3), third in wins (27), 12th in strikeouts (192) and 13th in shutouts (6).

Davies, after enduring a relatively bumpy stretch during the first half of the season, returned to form late to win 13 consecutive decisions entering the final day of the season. During that streak – which began on April 17 – she posted a 1.12 ERA, completed 11 of 12 starts and notched 69 strikeouts over 81 innings.

Of her 36 total starts, Davies allowed two or fewer earned runs in 27 of them. Of those, she allowed one or no earned runs 21 times.

Davis was joined on the All-America list by three other Cascade Conference pitchers: British Columbia's Carleen Murray, Eastern Oregon's Hope Burke, and Oregon Tech's Kristine Schmidt.

She and the Raiders finished the season with a 45-15 record. They advanced to the World Series for the eighth time in nine years as the No. 3 overall seed.

Davies will enter her junior season with a career record of 65-14 and a 1.53 ERA.
