Southern Oregon senior Rosie Converse (Colorado Springs, Colo./Pine Creek) set a personal best in three events during Day One of today's Willamette Multi-Event meet.

Converse finished the first day of the Heptathlon with a Day One personal best of 2,432, which is good enough for third place.

Converse set personal bests in the 100 hurdles (16.71), high jump (5-01) and the 200 (28.15). Converse finished third in the shot put with a throw of 31-07.25.

The heptathlon wraps up Monday.
