Tenth-ranked Oregon Tech wrapped up at least a share of their third straight Cascade Conference crown with a 68-58 victory over Southern Oregon tonight at Riehm Arena.
Oregon Tech improved to 24-4 overall and 14-2 in Cascade Conference play. Southern Oregon dropped to 14-13 overall and 6-10 in league action. The Raiders host Warner Pacific next Friday.
Oregon Tech had five players finish in double-figures. Joseph Foster, Kyle Gomez and Bryant Sentman all had 14 points. Brent Johnson had 12 points and Mihajlo Matic finished with 11 points.
Jordan Highland (Tualatin, Ore./Tualatin) had 23 points on 9-for-10 shooting to lead the Raiders.
Kyle Tedder (Coos Bay, Ore./Marshfield) had 10 points.
Oregon Tech came out on fire, taking a 23-8 lead with 15 of those points coming on 3-pointers.
The Owls led 37-27 at the half and then the Raiders started to cut away at the lead.

Armani Jackson (Hercules, Calif./Pinole Valley) cut the OIT lead to 45-43 with 14:08 to play.
The Owls then turned it on once again - going on a 13-3 run to push the advantage to 58-44 on a Sentman jumper.
The Raiders had another run, cut the lead to 60-55 on a pair of free throws with 3:50 to play by
Dex Daum (Fallon, Nev./Churchill). SOU got it six again with 1:50 to play on a three point by by Highland, but free throws would ice it for the Owls.
