Box Score CALDWELL, Idaho – In 22 seasons, no team has ever gone undefeated through the Cascade Conference men's basketball schedule. Southern Oregon University certainly won't be the first.

The College of Idaho Coyotes knocked off the second-ranked Raiders, 95-83, Saturday night at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center, putting an end to SOU's 11-game win streak. The Raiders fell to 13-2 overall and 3-1 in the CCC going into an eight-day break.

Josh Wilson registered 13 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds and four steals, and Demetrius Perkins led five Coyotes (12-4, 3-1) in double figures with 20 points.

Eric Thompson (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) went 7-for-17 with 25 points and 14 rebounds for SOU.

C of I had just eight turnovers and made 12 more free throws than the Raiders, but most importantly the Coyotes were able to keep their distance by never allowing a big run. A 15-3 spurt gave them a 47-33 lead just before halftime and put them in control for good.

A couple Thompson jumpers got SOU within seven two minutes into the second half, but the Raiders never got any closer and C of I led by as many as 17.

David Sturner (Philomath, Ore./Philomath) had 15 points and nine rebounds, Jeff Bush (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) had 13 points, five rebounds and three assists, and Tim Weber (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) had 10 points, four rebounds and three assists. The Raiders only got 13 points out of their bench.

Sydney Donaldson tallied 17 points and three of C of I's 10 3-pointers.

The Raiders will travel to Rocklin, Calif., for a Dec. 30 nonleague game against William Jessup. They'll be back home on Jan. 3-4 for CCC games against Northwest Christian and Corban.
