KANSAS CITY -- Three Southern Oregon student-athletes from the winter sports of men's and women's basketball and wrestling have been named 2012-13 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the NAIA announced.
One student from each sport earned the honor for the Raiders this year. Junior point guard
Jeff Bush (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) represented the men's basketball team, senior guard
Molly Doran (Corvallis, OR/Crescent Valley) represented the women's basketball team and senior
Woong Kim (Honolulu, Hawaii/Kalani) represented the wrestling program.
Student-athletes are nominated by their institution's head coach and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status in order to qualify for the honor.
