Box Score KIRKLAND, Wash. – Ryan McIntosh rebounded and tossed in C.J. Carter's airball with 1.1 seconds left, lifting Northwest University to an 86-84 win over Southern Oregon in Cascade Conference men's basketball Saturday night.

Trailing 84-82, the sixth-ranked Raiders (16-4 overall, 5-3 CCC) tied the game with 11 seconds remaining as Kyle Tedder (Coos Bay, Ore./Marshfield) found a cutting David Sturner (Philomath, Ore./Philomath) for a layup. Northwest (14-4, 5-2) had taken the lead with 27 seconds left when Tommy Jordan was awarded two free throws on a blocking foul at the end of the shot clock.

On the final possession, Carter leaned in for a contested 3-pointer from the right wing and was short by about three feet, but McIntosh was there to put it in.

Tim Weber (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) had a career-high 20 points and five rebounds for the Raiders, going 7-for-10 from the field and making both of his 3-point attempts. Sturner went 8-for-13 with 16 points, Jeff Bush (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) was 7-for-8 with 16 points and five assists, and Eric Thompson (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) had 14 points and nine boards.

As a team, SOU shot 62.3 percent (33-for-53) from the field.

But the story of the night was the Eagles' accuracy from outside. They hit 12 of 23 attempts, and in the second half made four that either tied the game or gave them the lead.

Michael Greene – who made a go-ahead jumper for the Eagles with 1:13 left before Weber responded with one of his own – scored a team-high 18 points. Tommy Jordan scored 16, Dak Shagren 15 and McIntosh 14.

Besides Carter's 0-for-4 effort from 3-point range, the rest of the Eagles who put them up were lights-out: Jordan (3-for-5), Shagren (3-for-4), Greene (2-for-3), McIntosh (2-for-4) and Brett Skogstad (2-for-3).

Tedder added eight points, two steals and four of SOU's 16 assists.

The Raiders will now prepare for next Saturday's 7:30 p.m. clash with archrival Oregon Tech at Bob Riehm Arena.
