Box Score CALDWELL, Idaho – Southern Oregon's eight-minute drought without a field goal in the second half and College of Idaho's 19-2 advantage on the offensive boards allowed the Yotes to escape with their 28th consecutive home win Friday night, 80-72 at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

Joey Nebeker had 19 points and 10 rebounds to pace the fourth-ranked Yotes (18-3 overall, 8-2 Cascade Conference), who trailed by as many as nine points in the first half.

The 10th-ranked Raiders (17-4, 7-3) went up 46-39 when Tim Weber (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) fed Eric Thompson (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) for a 3-pointer four minutes into the second half. The Raiders led 51-47 when C of I went on a 17-2 run, which Jordan O'Byrne punctuated with consecutive 3-pointers.

SOU chipped away, finally getting to within 70-68 on Thompson's fourth from downtown with 2:57 left, but Sydney Donaldson banked in a second-chance floater on the other end and the Raiders came up empty on their next three trips down the floor.

The Raiders went 8-for-16 from outside in the first half and 3-for-9 in the second. They shot 23-for-50 from the field, dipping under 50 percent for just the second time in nine games. They had previously been the only team this season to shoot over 50 percent against the Yotes in their 77-74 win on Dec. 20 at Riehm Arena.

Thompson notched 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Jordan West (Gymea Bay, Australia/Port Hacking) had 16 points and three 3-pointers. Ben DeSaulnier (Philomath, Ore./Philomath) added 13, Justin Martin (Central Point, Ore./Crater) scored 11 with three 3-pointers in the first half, and Tim Weber (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) contributed eight points, seven assists and two blocks.

Also in double figures for the Yotes were Josh Wilson (15 points, eight rebounds), Marko Kovacevic (11 points, 11 rebounds) and Sydney Donaldson (11 points).

SOU, which had won four straight, is back in action Saturday at Eastern Oregon.
