Southern Oregon's Arianna Daniel and Joseph Dotson were voted Cascade Conference Red Lion Athletes of the Week on Monday following their indoor track and field season-opening performances at the University of Washington Invitational.

Daniel, a six-time All-American from Elk Grove, Calif., ran the 200-meter invitational race in 25.97 seconds and the 400 in 58.05. Her 400 time converted to 58.84 on the NAIA performance list, good for an NAIA Indoor Championships provisional-qualifying mark and the No. 13 spot on the national leaderboard.

Dotson, a four-time, multi-event athlete from All-American from Florence, scored 4,873 points in the heptathlon at the meet to hit another NAIA qualifying standard. His total stands at No. 5 on the NAIA performance list.

Daniel and Dotson were the only Raiders in action at UW. Another group will compete Saturday and Sunday in Newberg and Portland at the George Fox Bruin/Portland Pilot Indoor Meet.
