GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Mia Santander's 87th-minute score sent the Southern Oregon women's soccer team home with a 1-0 win over Providence (Mont.) and a perfect road trip Saturday afternoon in Cascade Conference action.

Sophia Connell assisted Santander for the lone goal with a cross, giving the Raiders their fifth win in six games and second shutout in as many days. Their record shot to 6-3-1 overall and 4-1 in the CCC, putting them in a third-place tie behind Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho, which are both 4-0 entering their head-to-head matchup Sunday.

The goal was Santander's third of the season, and the assist Connell's second. It was SOU's third consecutive game-winner tallied in the 66th minute or later.

The Raiders dominated possession with 20 shots to Providence's four, and Jessie Selby needed to make just two saves to register her second solo shutout and the team's sixth of the season.

Six different Raiders had a shot on goal. They've gotten scores from seven different players in their last four victories.

The Argos fell to 1-7 overall and 1-4 in CCC play.

SOU will be home next Saturday to face Carroll (Mont.) (4-3-1, 3-1-1) at 3:30 p.m.
