ASHLAND – For the second week in a row, Southern Oregon University hurdler Bryce Goggin has been named the Cascade Conference's Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Men's Track Athlete of the Week.

Already an automatic qualifier for the NAIA Outdoor Championships in the 110-meter hurdles, Goggin improved on his 'A' standard time by clocking in at 14.67 seconds last Friday at Raider Stadium, putting him at No. 9 on the national performance list.

A week earlier, the junior from Eugene recorded a time of 14.73. The NAIA 'A' standard is 14.75.

Goggin is also currently No. 5 on the CCC's 400-meter hurdles performance list after running the race Thursday in 58.89 seconds.

He'll be in action again April 9-10 when SOU hosts its third meet.
