OREGON PREVIEW RESULTS | OREGON TECH OPEN RESULTS

EUGENE/KLAMATH FALLS – Frankie Maciel clocked the Cascade Conference's second-fastest 1,500-meter time at the Oregon Preview and Southern Oregon accumulated 11 event victories at the Oregon Tech Open as the Raiders competed at two meets Saturday afternoon.

Maciel, a senior, placed 20th with a personal-best of 3 minutes 56.75 seconds at Hayward Field. Mason Weisgerber, his freshman teammate, finished in 4:00.92 to take over the No. 3 spot on the CCC list.

SOU had three representatives in the women's 1,500: 22nd-place Cammeo Ramirez (4:50.34), 23rd-place Sarah Mauk (4:51.50) and 25th-place Alyssa Johnson (4:52.06).

The Raiders joined Oregon Tech and Multnomah for the first meet at OIT's Moehl Stadium in 12 years.  They got men's wins from Dylan Heath in the 200 (22.66), Jalen Griego in the 3,000 (9:02.11), Jayden Christy in the 100 hurdles (15.91), Carson Le Bel in the high jump (1.85 meters), Derrick Bennett in the shot put (11.96 meters) and John Rose in the hammer (31.19 meters).

On the women's side, Gracie Freudenthal won the 200 (27.59), Sienna Bauer won the long jump (5.14), Katherine Martinez won both the pole vault (3.05 meters) and the javelin (34.06 meters), and Ilyhia Greely won the discus (38.66 meters).
