ASHLAND Hailey Seva represented Southern Oregon on the NAIA Softball World Series All-Tournament team after hitting safely all three games in Columbus, Ga., for the Raiders.

Seva, a junior making her first appearance at the tourney, went 4-for-9 with two doubles, three runs scored and two RBIs. She had a multi-hit game in SOU's win against No. 3 Central Methodist (Mo.), scoring the tying run in the fifth inning.

Seva, who transferred to SOU after two seasons at Chico State (Calif.), made a midseason move from second base and ended up on the All-Cascade Conference second team as an outfielder. She completed her first season as a Raider with a .335 batting average, 23 extra-base hits, 34 RBIs and 34 runs over 55 games.

The Raiders completed their sixth World Series appearance in seven years with a 41-19 record, finishing seventh place at the tournament. Top-ranked Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) won it, defeating Jessup (Calif.) in the championship round.
