ASHLAND – Southern Oregon University led all schools with 50 U.S. Bank Academic All-Cascade Conference honorees from its winter sports teams, the CCC office announced on Wednesday.
To qualify for the Academic All-CCC distinction, one must have been enrolled at their current institution for at least one full year and reached sophomore or higher academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
The total is SOU's highest ever for the winter season. The Raiders had 23 honorees from the men's wrestling team, 14 from the women's wrestling team, eight from the women's basketball team and five from the men's basketball team.
