TOURNAMENT CENTRAL

FOREST GROVE – The No. 6-ranked Southern Oregon men's wrestling team made its 2025-26 mat debut with 31 individuals in action on Sunday and produced seven top-four placers at the Mike Clock Open, led by 197-pound champion Elias Corona.

Corona, an All-Cascade Conference performer ranked 11th in the NAIA, started his sophomore season with a 5-0 day that included three wins by fall and a major decision. After getting his first two opponents with pins, he capped his run with another in the second round of the final against Lusiana Lopez of Clackamas C.C.

Two more Raiders, Braylin Ruchti (174 pounds) and Ethan Miller (184), reached the finals in their brackets. Ruchti went 3-1 with a pair of major decisions and Miller won his first three matches by decision, technical fall and fall.

Kyle Sieminski (125) placed third, and a trio of Raiders took fourth: Zach Keinonen (133), Bridger Foss (174) and Justin Tripp (285). Sieminski enjoyed a 4-1 afternoon with three pins, and Keinonen bounced back from an opening-match loss by winning five consecutive consolation rounds, including four with bonus points. Tripp won four consolation matches in a row and Foss contributed three victories.

The Raiders will be in action again on Friday, starting their dual schedule at Eastern Oregon.
