COMPLETE RESULTS

RENO, Nev. – Lilly Pickett ran the NAIA 'A' standard and Carson Le Bel hit the provisional mark in the Southern Oregon track and field team's first indoor meet of the season at this weekend's Nevada Silver State Invitational at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

Pickett placed second in the 600 meter run with a time of 1:32.65 to hit the 'A' mark. The back-to-back Oregon 4A state champion in the 400 – who had previously never raced further than a quarter mile on the track – now holds the top spot on the NAIA Indoor performance list.

Le Bel cleared 4.80 meters (15-9) in pole vault to achieve the NAIA 'B' standard. The senior from Central Point entered at 15-3 and cleared it on his first attempt before going over 15-9, also on his first attempt. He shares the No. 1 spot on the NAIA leaderboard with Cornerstone's Isaac Bowden.

Two others made their Raider debut. Transfer Brodie Leslie placed 28th in the 60 meter dash (7.15) and 27th in the 200 (22.34), and freshman Gabby Morfin landed in the No. 10 spot on the NAIA leaderboard in the pentathlon, scoring 2,878 points.

The Raiders return to Reno for the Nevada Invitational on Jan. 16 and 17.
