SOU tacks on 32 NAIA Scholar Athletes from spring sports

ASHLAND – A combined 32 student-athletes from Southern Oregon University's spring sports teams were named NAIA Scholar Athletes on Wednesday, the national office announced.

To qualify for the distinction, an individual must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 and have attended their institution for at least one full year by the start of the spring. Including the fall honorees, SOU has produced 78 Scholar Athletes this year.

Since the start of the 2024-25 season, SOU has produced 110 Scholar Athletes.
