ASHLAND – Another title netted another NAIA National Coaching Staff of the Year Award for Southern Oregon from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Wednesday.

The Raiders, headed by 10th-year coach Jessica Pistole, earned the designation for the third time during their active dynastic run and will be recognized Dec. 13 at the NFCA Convention in Las Vegas.

Pistole's 2025 staff included eighth-year assistant Cheyenne Bricker, sixth-year assistant Harlee Crown, third-year assistant Bill Rowe, first-year assistant Hannah Clavelle, and first-year assistant of operations Kim Budd. Bricker – the 2022 Easton NAIA Assistant Coach of the Year – and Crown have been part of all four championship teams and all three Staffs of the Year.

"I'm so thankful for this staff," Pistole said. "This diverse group of extremely talented coaches embodied so many different qualities to help our players and team become all that we were capable of this year. I appreciate the unwavering commitment to serve the team and the program with all that we had."

The Raiders finished the season as the unanimous No. 1 team in the NAIA, matching the program's single-season wins record with a 55-9 campaign. They won the World Series as the No. 3 seed, becoming the first team ever to recover from a tournament-opening loss with seven consecutive elimination-game victories.

Bricker, the SOU's lead assistant and pitching coach, was especially instrumental in the development of freshman star Ayla Davies. In recent weeks, Davies was named the Cascade Conference Pitcher of the Year, the NAIA Pitcher of the Year, the NAIA Freshman of the Year, and the World Series MVP.

Bricker, Crown and Clavelle each played for Pistole at SOU before joining the staff.

Pistole, who entered the season as a three-time NAIA Coach of the Year, now owns a 469-142 record with the Raiders. After 15 years overall as a head collegiate softball coach, she is sitting on 591 career wins.

The 2025 NAIA Coach of the Year award winner will be announced later this month.
