ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon women's wrestling team had seven nationally-ranked individuals, adding two to its total, and came in at No. 12 overall and Thursday's latest NAIA Top 20 coaches' poll.
Lillian Gradillas-Flores retained the top spot at 207 pounds for the Raiders. She and No. 3-ranked
Kat Hingano (180) , a fellow sophomore, also topped the Cascade Conference rankings after perfect 5-0 efforts at the NWCA-NAIA National Duals.
They were joined by No. 11
Vida Boskovic (160), No. 11
Makayla Correa (138), No. 13
Jade Morales (131), No. 14
Briseis Serrano (110), No. 19
Kaylee Annis (124). Annis and Correa both moved back into the polls after being left out in the previous edition.
The Raiders' team ranking marked a one-spot drop despite a sixth-place finish at National Duals, where 14 of the top-15 teams in the NAIA competed.
They're back in dual action tonight at No. 2 Providence (Mont.) and wrestle Sunday at the Evergreen Open before making their home debut Jan. 23 against Westcliff (Calif.) at 5 p.m.
