RENO, Nev. — Lilly Pickett notched her second national qualifying mark and Carson Le Bel took first in pole vault at the Nevada Invitational on Friday and Saturday in the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. 

Pickett placed fifth in her 400-meter opener, finishing with a time of 56.05 seconds to dip under the NAIA 'A' standard. It's the freshman's second-fastest 400-meter performance of her life – with only her 2025 Oregon State title win of 55.77 being faster – and the second fastest time in the NAIA this year. Last month in her Raider debut, she earned her first automatic indoor national berth, running an NAIA No. 1 time of 1:32.65 for 600 meters. 

Le Bel picked up a win in pole vault, clearing 4.75m (15-7) to beat out a field of nine. The All-American already hit the NAIA provisional mark last month in Reno when he cleared 4.80m (15-9) for a third-place finish. He's currently tied for the No. 2 position on the NAIA indoor performance list. 

Katherine Martinez and Sydney Perkins tied for second in pole vault, both getting over 3.41m (11-2 ¼), and freshman Gabby Morfin competed in four events, tackling the 200-meter dash (27.55), 60m hurdles (9.69), 400m (1:05.94), and long jump (17-0 ¾).

A trio of Raider sprinters also saw action. Brodie Leslie (7.11) and Isaiah Hidalgo (7.20) both ran personal bests in the 60m, and Trey Lucas ran a season best in the 200m (22.96). 

The Raiders return to Reno for the Wolf Pack Classic on Feb. 5 and 6.
