COMPLETE MEET RESULTS

RENO, Nev. — Carson Le Bel cleared the NAIA automatic qualifying height in pole vault, Carter Stedman ran the 'B' standard in the mile, and ten other Raiders competed in the three-day indoor meet at the University of Nevada's Wolf Pack Classic & Combined Events on Thursday through Saturday.

Le Bel posted an NAIA No. 2 and season's best height of 4.90 meters (16-0 ¾) to take third place out of nine. The senior came in at 4.75 meters, cleared it on his third attempt, then vaulted over the 4.90m bar on his third try to set the new SOU indoor program record. It's his best indoor performance since last year's NAIA Indoor Championships where he placed fourth (4.85m).

Stedman won heat two of the men's mile with a time of 4 minutes 16.72 seconds. Due to the Biggest Little City Indoor Track sitting at 4,450 feet of altitude, it converts to 4:11.97, good enough for the NAIA 'B' standard and the 13th fastest time in the nation. He placed sixth overall in a field of 41 and closed the last 400 meters in 60.1 seconds.

Lilly Pickett ran the second 600-meter run of her career, winning her heat and taking second overall in 1:33.00. She ran 200-meter splits of 28.29, 31.88 (1:00.17), and 32.84 (1:33.00) to finish just under half a second off of her personal best. She still holds the No. 2 time in the NAIA this year (1:32.65). Pickett also ran the 200-meter dash, finishing 47th in 25.56.

Other members of SOU's distance squad saw their first action since the NAIA Cross Country Championships. Josh Hepner won heat three of the men's mile in 4:20.96, placing 10th overall and running the fastest 200-meter split of the day, covering the final lap in 28.53 seconds and the final 400 meters in 59.4 seconds. Mason Weisgerber finished fifth in heat two and 11th overall with a time of 4:21.10 and Gus Blank took seventh in heat three in 4:31.10.

In the women's mile, Sophia Stubblefield placed sixth in heat two and 13th overall out of 37 runners with a time of 5:20.39. Freshman Alaina Casady took 11th in the same heat, finishing in 5:34.72.

Gabby Morfin set a personal best in the pentathlon, scoring 2,959 points while recording new bests in the high jump (5-0 ¼) and 800-meter run (2:51.65). It's an 81-point improvement from her pentathlon debut (2,878) in December.

Brodie Leslie ran a personal best in the 60-meter hurdles (7.05) and 200m (22.32), and Trey Lucas ran season bests in the 200m (22.92) and 400m (50.22).
