GAINESVILLE, Fla — A guaranteed podium finish awaits Lilly Pickett after she advanced to Saturday's 600-meter final on Day 2 of the NAIA Indoor Championships. 

Pickett ran a personal best and the third fastest time of the day, 1 minute 32.47 seconds (1:32.47), to place second in heat four, earning the first little 'q'. She will be the only freshman on the starting line of Saturday morning's eight-person 600-meter final. 

She ran 200-meter splits of 28.20, 32.15 (1:00.35), and 32.13 (1:32.47), finishing behind Evangel's Autumn Nold, who ran the top time of the prelims (1:32.29). 

The women's 600 final is scheduled to start at 10:25 a.m. on Saturday. Two other Raiders will compete on the final day of competition. Carson Le Bel begins pole vaulting at 10:15 a.m. and Mason Weisgerber runs the 5k at 1:20 p.m.
