MEN'S LEADERBOARD | WOMEN'S LEADERBOARD

PORTLAND – The Southern Oregon men's golf team climbed three spots in the team standings to finish fourth place and the Raider women took fifth as the Cascade Conference Tournament of Knights wrapped up Tuesday at Glendoveer Golf Course.

The SOU men's team finish was its best in three CCC-counting tournaments this season. The Raiders jumped Corban and Warner Pacific and forced a tie with Oregon Tech with a three-round score of 28-over par behind Oliver Ausland, whose third round matched the best in the field.

Ausland carded a 3-under 70 on Tuesday to finish 3-over on the week and tied for 12th place on a 53-person men's leaderboard. He registered four birdies and didn't bogey until the 15th hole on his final trip around the course.

Ryder Jacox (+7) and Ty Beyer (+7) tied for 20th place and Ricky Reisner (+11) finished 30th.

Keira Cheng led the Raider women as she has done throughout the season. The All-CCC junior ended at 15-over in the two-round affair after turning in a 6-over 79 in her second, taking 11th place out of 45.

As a team, the Raider women were 92-over. Mia Bontrager tied for 20th at 22-over, totaling 84 strokes in both rounds. Mya Oakes (+29), Abby Francis (+31) and Alexa Ibarraran (+34) each cracked the top-30.

British Columbia won both team titles and had the women's medalist in Keira Hou (+6). Lewis-Clark State's Luke West (-6) captured the men's individual championship.

Following a week off, the conference will meet again in Lewiston, Idaho, for the CCC Championship from April 27-29.
